About Us


The Shire IT Cluster is an initiative of the Sutherland Shire Council. Our aim is to help to address the needs of IT businesses based in the Sutherland Shire.

All local and related businesses and services are encouraged to attend our general meetings and take advantage of topical presentatins and networking opportunities.

What Do We Do?

  • We help to create an environment where IT and associated companies and activities can grow and flourish
  • We promote the Shire IT Cluster as a place of excellence and ethical practice in IT and IT associated activities
  • We promote education and learning within the sector and facilitate links to schools, TAFE colleges and university to encourage a flow of people, capable in IT, for local jobs
  • We encourage the business community and public bodies to look to the Shire IT Cluster for their IT products and requirements
  • We act as a link between business, government and community to develop information flows and promote IT capability generally

We are local IT sector companies and government bodies who are working together to promote the IT services available here in the Sutherland Shire.
